Not every feeling can be described, but they sure can be bottled and put on your wall!

My 'In a Jar' series initially came from a somewhat offhand joke I made on social media because I enjoyed drawing things encapsulated in jars (a little blob monster, an axolotl, a paper boat on the sea). Looking back at designs I've done in the past that never saw the light of day really, I had drawn a Jar of Happiness. It looks nothing like the one in this collection, and I think that speaks the truth about just how far I've come.

Every jar carries a heart-shaped handle... a subtle nod to my own signature mark.
When it came time to create these, I was looking up symbols and colour variations to best capture the rawness of each emotion.

The Little Jar of Love, surrounded by a glistening swirl and the 'potion' inside full of red roses, hearts and sparkles, signifies the whirlwind of love and all it entails, finished off with wee eternity confetti.

The Little Jar of Magic is in honour of a very special woman, who loved everything magical, including her many black cats.

The Little Jar of Wanderlust, with its paper boat and plane, indicates that vacations are temporary, but that feeling will always stay with us, even when our internal compass guides us home.

The Little Jar of Courage represents your inner phoenix: never giving up, resilient and fierce.
The Little Jar of Hope encompasses all things that represent hope... fern fronds for new beginnings, dragonflies swooping for transformation, an anchor to ground you, and the lotus for resilience through muddied waters.
